History A family domain for 4 generations, the Philippe Gavignet's domain is located in the town of Nuits Saint Georges right in the heart of Burgundy. Unlike previous generations, Philippe is the first of the family tree to devote himself entirely to the vineyard and the wines.

It was in 1979 that Philippe took his first steps into the family business, but it was only in 1992 that he took over the entire management of the domain immediately upon his father Michel's retirement. Today the domain spreads accross almost 10 hectares with 12 different appellations. Most our wines are bottled with about 60 000 bottles being sold either from our cellar or at wine fairs across France. Thanks to Sue for her help |
